Three hundred tons of sand will be hauled in via multiple dump truck loads and spread at UCLA Tennis Center as the venue is “beachified” for this week’s debut event in the brand-new AVP League. Olympic heroes and professional beach volleyball’s biggest stars will headline each event of the brand new AVP League, a nine-week series of competitions making stops at arenas and sporting venues across the country from September to November.

Approximately 300 tons of white sand will be delivered in multiple truckloads throughout the day. The loose, soft sand is ideal for beach volleyball courts suitable for the best players in the world.

Top AVP beach volleyball stars, will debut of the new AVP League and what fans can expect Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15. Gates open Saturday at 5 p.m. PT and Sunday at noon. General admission starts at $47 per day, and upgraded seating options include Endline VIP and Courtside Boxes.
