The world’s best tennis players have arrived on the clay courts of Roland-Garros for the second major of the season, the French Open. Well, almost all of the world’s best players, since the men’s defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz, will sit this one out due to a wrist injury.

On the women’s side, three familiar names are in a great position to pick up a victory: defending champion Coco Gauff, World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, and four-time French Open winner Iga Swiatek.

Turner Sports will handle U.S. broadcasts of the 2026 French Open with live TV coverage on TNT and TruTV. If you don’t have cable, you can livestream the French Open online using any live TV streaming service that carries TNT and TruTV, or you can watch on HBO Max. Here’s a breakdown of four of the best options:

Don’t want to pay for HBO Max? Get a five-day free trial to DirecTV to stream French Open play online for free. The service carries TNT and TruTV in a few of its packages, including its MySports Genre Pack and larger Signature Packages. After the free trial — and an introductory discount — these start at $64.99 a month.

HBO Max will have livestreams of the 2026 French Open, but the service does not offer a free trial. To get live sports, you’ll need the HBO Max Standard ($18.49/month) or Premium $22.99/month) package.

Another live TV streaming service that carries TNT and TruTV is Sling. You’ll need the streamer’s Orange, Blue, or Orange + Blue package to get the channels. These start at $45.99 a month, but Sling does not currently offer a free trial.

Hulu + Live TV also carries TNT and TruTV for French Open livestreams. The service offers a three-day free trial to start, and it costs $89.99 a month once the trial ends.
