Just this morning, the 2025 PISA 2025 results were released and as feared, they are very concerning both on a global scale and for Mexico specifically. A major new 11-tower housing and hotel development in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, has been proposed at a projected cost of 515 million pesos (US $30.5 million). The proposal from BM/5096 Business Trust was published in the Environment Ministry’s Ecological Gazette on Aug. 20 for review, and the start of construction is contingent upon the development obtaining the necessary Environmental Impact Assessment (MIA). Revenue from Britain’s independent producers hit its second-highest total last year, despite spend from UK broadcasters falling beneath £2B ($2.7B) for the first time since 2020.
