Created and produced by the LA Tourism and Convention Board, Dine LA provides vital support to local restaurants and the broader hospitality sector. Mayor Bass has worked to open Los Angeles for business by increasing access to resources, technical assistance and new business opportunities. Mayor Bass and City Attorney Hydee Feldstein Soto patronized Downtown LA restaurant Maccheroni Republic, calling on Angelenos to participate in Dine LA, see here.
“LA has the best restaurants in the world, and many of them are hurting from so many challenges, from the impacts of the reckless raids to the lingering fallout of the pandemic, we must support our neighborhood gems,” said Mayor Bass. “That’s why I stopped by for lunch at a Dine LA restaurant today and hope Angelenos from all over will go out to try a new spot or visit a cherished favorite as Dine LA kicks off tomorrow. LA is strongest when we come together, and I hope that’s what you experience when you dine out during Dine LA.”
Dine LA’s Summer 2025 event takes place from July 25 to August 8 and features 480 restaurants, the highest participation yet, across 88 neighborhoods and 33 global cuisines, with 80 brand-new participants this year. The extensive array of participating restaurants reinforces LA’s status as a global culinary capital. Los Angeles is home to numerous Michelin-recognized restaurants, with many of these establishments participating in Dine LA. This program takes place twice a year and invites diners to explore the city’s excellent restaurant landscape with a wide variety of specialty lunch and dinner menus across price points at hundreds of local restaurants across Los Angeles. “Dine LA is more than just a celebration of LA’s food, it’s a moment to support the chefs, restaurateurs and teams who continue to shape the city’s culinary culture,” said Stacey Sun, Executive Director of Dine LA. “Restaurants across Los Angeles have shown incredible resilience in recent years, and this program offers a meaningful way for locals and visitors alike to show up, dine out and rediscover what makes our dining scene so special.”
