Republicans made a Commitment to America to lower energy costs and set the country back on the right track.

House Republicans kept that commitment.

The Republican majority passed H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act, to reduce global emissions, streamline the permitting process, and reduce energy costs. It passed with bipartisan support in the House.

But this fight isn’t over. That’s why Speaker McCarthy and other Members of the House Republican Conference held a press conference to demand the Senate pass H.R. 1 and to urge President Biden to sign it into law.
