Ingenuity, a technology experiment, will be the first aircraft to attempt controlled flight on another planet.
The launch period window for NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance opened on July 20, 2020. The mission marks humanity’s first step in returning samples from another planet and will seek past signs on Mars while demonstrating key technologies to help prepare for future robotic and human exploration.
