Las Vegas Celebrates the Holiday Season with Events and Decor

LAS VEGAS — It’s the most wonderful time of the year as Las Vegas welcomes winter and the spirit of the holidays this season. With an abundance of holiday lights, outdoor festivities and activities to choose from, Las Vegas shines as the ultimate destination for visitors looking to celebrate and spread holiday cheer.

Crowds gathered on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas to witness the lighting of the Grand Menorah on Sunday, Dec. 2. The celebrations, led by Rabbi Shea Harlig from the Chabad of Southern Nevada, featured the lighting of the 20-foot menorah that will remain on display throughout the Hanukkah season.

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman helped flip the switch to turn on the Fremont Street Experience’s Christmas tree Tuesday night, December 4, 2018, as downtown Las Vegas gets ready for the holiday.

The LINQ Promenade transforms into a colorful, magical winter wonderland with candy-themed décor and a whimsical show of music and dance for the annual Holiday Magic display complete with the scent of fresh cut pines during the nightly snowfall beginning Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018.

Transforming into a glistening winter wonderland, Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens unveiled its spectacular holiday display on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018. The picture-perfect botanical creations include a 42-foot tall holiday tree, a glamorous ice queen and of course, polar bears!
