The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) fell 2-0 to Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night at Banc of California Stadium.
The Club’s newest edition, forward Christian Ramirez made his first appearance for the Black & Gold, subbing on for Marco Ureña in the 69th minute. Goalkeeper Luis ‘Buba’ López also made his first appearance for LAFC, while defender Danilo Silva and midfielder André Horta each started for the first time in MLS.
LAFC currently sits in fifth place in the Western Conference with a 10-7-6 (36 points) record. The Club continues its three-game homestand on Wednesday, August 15 against Real Salt Lake (7:00 p.m. PT; ESPN2) before hosting the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, August 19 (7:00 p.m. PT; YouTube TV, UniMás 46).
