The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) extended its unbeaten streak in MLS to four games following a 2-2 draw against Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium on Tuesday night.
After a 90-minute delay due to inclement weather in the area, LAFC would take the lead just five minutes into the game. Forward Latif Blessing bagged his second goal in as many games thanks to Adama Diomande’s cheeky through-ball. Midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye would double LAFC’s lead in the 72nd minute, before the home side would answer back with two stoppage time goals to split the points in Houston.
The draw keeps LAFC in the third spot in the Western Conference with a 9-3-5 (31 points) record. The Black & Gold return home to host Orlando City SC this Saturday, July 7 at Banc of California Stadium (1:30 p.m. PT, FOX).
