The Los Angeles County Office of the Assessor is holding a series of seminars across the County for business owners who file Form 571-L declaring business personal property (e.g., equipment, furniture, machinery) worth $5,000 or more.

Participants will receive guidance on what is considered to be business personal property, what the filing process entails, and who is eligible to file electronically.

These seminars are part of a public awareness campaign intended to provide Los Angeles County residents and business owners with useful information about services and property tax savings programs offered by the Assessor’s Office.
