LAS VEGAS — The battle of two divas kicked off the Mexican Independence Day weekend in Las Vegas. Singers Alejandra Guzman and Gloria Trevi performed during “Gloria Trevi vs. Alejandra Guzman” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Sept. 14. Also performing this weekend is the Mexican rock group Mana, and Latin singers Alejandro Fernandez, Ricardo Arjona and Miguel Bose. Golden Boy Promotions will showcase one of the biggest events in boxing when division world champions Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez square off at T-Mobile Arena, the finale after several undercard bouts that night.
