On August 28, Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan will meet with Republic of Korea (ROK) Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lim Sung-nam to discuss our continued coordination on North Korea policy, U.S.-ROK bilateral issues, and U.S.-ROK-Japan trilateral cooperation on shared regional and global priorities. The Deputy Secretary will reaffirm the United States’ ironclad commitment to defend the ROK and its allies against threats from North Korea.
