Las Vegas, Nevada – September kicks off with a bang on UFC FIGHT PASS®, as No.6-ranked heavyweight contenderAndrei Arlovski (25-12 1NC, fighting out of Chicago, Illinois, USA by way of Minsk, Belarus) battles No.9 Josh Barnett (34-8, fighting out of Fullerton, California, USA) in the main event of UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: ARLOVSKI vs. BARNETT Saturday in Hamburg, Germany. The event, which will stream live on UFC FIGHT PASS, will also feature two-time UFC® light heavyweight championship challenger and No.2-ranked contender Alexander Gustafsson (16-4, fighting out of Stockholm, Sweden) facing off with Jan Blachowicz (19-5, fighting out of Warsaw, Poland).
The UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: ARLOVSKI vs. BARNETT main card is available live on UFC FIGHT PASS starting at 3 p.m. ET/12p.m. PT on Saturday, September 3, with prelims beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT.
“UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: ARLOVSKI vs. BARNETT marks the third live UFC event streamed on UFC FIGHT PASS in 2016,” UFC Senior Vice-President and UFC FIGHT PASS General Manager Eric Winter said. “With three more UFC cards scheduled before the year’s end for UFC FIGHT PASS, now is truly the time for fight fans to experience everything the platform has to offer.”
September will also see three UFC FIGHT PASS featured bouts. Prior to the UFC heavyweight championship bout atUFC® 203: MIOCIC vs. OVEREEM on Saturday, September 10, Yancy Medeiros (12-4 1NC, fighting out of Makaha, Hawaii, USA) and Sean Spencer (12-5, fighting out of Dallas, Texas, USA) will lock horns in a clash of lightweight standouts.
The Ultimate Fighter®: Latin America 2 winner Erick Montano (8-3, fighting out of Mexico City, Mexico) meets Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight alumni Randy Brown (7-1, fighting out of Queens, New York, USA by way of Spanish Town, Jamaica) at UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: POIRIER vs. JOHNSON on Saturday, September 17.
To close out the month, lightweight prospects Alan Patrick (13-1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and Stevie Ray(19-5, fighting out of Fife, Scotland) square off at UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: CYBORG vs. LANSBERG on Saturday, September 24 in Brasilia, Brazil.
