The LA84 Foundation Summer Aquatics Program provides basic instruction and competitive opportunities in swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming. The Foundation has supported this program since 1986 at Los Angeles City and County pools, as well as in other municipalities including: Burbank, Carson, Glendale, La Mirada, Long Beach, Palmdale, Pasadena, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, South Gate, and Ventura. More than 15,000 youngsters, ages 7 to 17, benefit from the Summer Aquatics Program each year. There are four culminating events: Swim Festival, Synchronized Swimming Festival, Diving Festival, and Water Polo Festival.
