LAS VEGAS — Just a few hours after the National Hockey League (NHL) announced that Las Vegas will be the home of a new NHL expansion team, the organization celebrated its best regular-season players and performances from the 2015-16 season at the annual NHL Awards in Las Vegas. Hosted by Will Arnett and featuring a live performance from X Ambassadors, the two-hour primetime awards show was broadcast live from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
