MADRID, 7 de abril de 2016 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Atreseries estrena, el martes 12 de abril, ‘Buscando el norte’, una comedia de contrastes que habla, en clave de humor, de la difícil situación de muchos españoles que han tenido que emigrar en busca de un futuro mejor.
Este nuevo proyecto, producido por Aparte Producciones para Atresmedia, es una ficción coral que apuesta por nuevas caras de la comedia española. Antonio Velázquez, Belén Cuesta y Manuel Burque encabezan el reparto de esta serie de personajes que cuenta también con Silvia Alonso, Terele Pávez, Kimberley Tell, Bárbara Santa Cruz, Oscar Ladoire, Fele Martínez, Jorge Bosch, Luis Zahera, Elisa Mouliaá, Goizalde Nuñez, Ferrán Rañe, Gillian Apter, Jesús Carroza y Ana Goya en el reparto de la serie.
La serie arranca con la historia de Álex y Carol, dos hermanos que, hartos de la situación laboral en España, deciden emigrar a la ciudad europea de las oportunidades: Berlín. Su ilusión por realizar el sueño alemán pronto se convierte en una pesadilla cuando se dan cuenta de que han pasado de vivir por encima de sus posibilidades a vivir por debajo de ellas. Los dos hermanos serán el hilo conductor para conocer a otros españoles con distintas historias.
La serie, rodada entre Madrid y Berlín, está basada en la película de éxito “Perdiendo el Norte” de Atresmedia Cine. El director de la cinta, Nacho García Velilla, consagrado también por otras comedias como “Fuera de Carta” o “Que se mueran los feos”, es el productor ejecutivo de la ficción.

The new series from Atresmedia, produced by Aparte Producciones, presents new faces in Spanish comedy, with Antonio Velázquez, Belén Cuesta and Manuel Burque heading the list, together with Silvia Alonso, Terele Pávez, Kimberley Tell, Bárbara Santa Cruz, Oscar Ladoire, Fele Martínez, Jorge Bosch, Luis Zahera, Elisa Mouliaá, Goizalde Nuñez, Ferrán Rañe, Gillian Apter, Jesús Carroza and Ana Goya.
The series kicks off with the story of Alex and Carol, a brother and sister who, tired of the job situation in Spain, decide to emigrate to the European city of opportunity: Berlin. However their dream of achieving the German dream soon becomes a nightmare when they realize that from once living below their means, they are now living above them. The brother and sister are the thread that runs through this series of stories other Spaniards who have left their country.
The series, filmed in Madrid and Berlin, is based on the film “Perdiendo el Norte” (Losing North) by Atresmedia Cine under the supervision of executive producer Nacho García Velilla, director of the original film as well as other comedies such as “Fuera de Carta” or “Que se mueran los feos”, (The Daily Special, or Kill All the Ugly).
