MIAMI, Oct. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — America TeVe announced that on October 23rd it will resume the signal transmission through AT&T Uverse on channel 48 in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas.  In this way, AT&T Uverse will offer in their system both America TeVe’s signal on 48 and that of its affíliate Mundo Fox on channel 41.

“It was impressive to observe the demonstrations of loyalty from our viewers in the recent weeks, who flooded the telephone lines in the service department at AT&T Uverse searching for an explanation to the interruption of the service. We want to let these viewers know that we never refrained from offering our regular programming at America TeVe free of charge to all cable and satellite companies. Such companies choose the products they offer in their channels,” said Omar Romay, CEO and President at America CV Network LLC.

America CV Network LLC represents Mundo Fox as of August 13th, 2012, the new string of FOX International Channels and RCN Television, in the New York, Puerto Rico and Miami markets.   For the Miami market, Mundo Fox broadcasts the local news produced by America TeVe.  These newscasts, produced live at 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM Monday through Friday, include high quality content, talent and local production characteristic of America TeVe. Mundo Fox also offers innovative programming such as action, novels, Sports (UFC) mini-series and a national newscast.

“Mundo Fox offers new programming options that increment the possibilities of diverse programming in Spanish for viewers in the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale areas.  As part of the launch of our affíliate, Mundo Fox in the month of August, America CV LLC Company began offering two different channels to cable and satellite companies.  AT&T Uverse decided to allocate the frequency of Channel 41 to Mundo Fox, leaving America TeVe temporarily outside its range of channels.  For our part, we never had the intention of depriving our viewers of our programming.  We thank AT&T Uverse for its cooperation of assigning channel 48 to transmit once again America TeVe’s signal,” added Romay.
