Elliot Anderson pulled the strings in midfield for City today — here’s what he had to say when speaking to Sky Sports:
💬 “I enjoyed it today. I felt more at home today, I’ve had a few more sessions, it’s my third game and I enjoyed it. Touches of the ball, fitness, getting my relationships with the players, they’re starting to build. I was nervous, I’m always nervous when I go on the pitch. Two wins from two now, we’re happy.
“In possession and out of possession, everyone gave their all. We were pretty aggressive and the game plan went as we wanted.
“I see this every day since I’ve joined, him (Cherki), Phil. They have so much talent. I’m so much happier to be playing with them than have them dribble past me.”
