After winning Super Bowl MVP for the Seattle Seahawks, Kenneth Walker III walked into free agency and immediately cashed in, signing a three-year, $43 million deal to become the focal point of the Kansas City Chiefs offense.
Walker always possessed the talent to be a bell cow back although the opportunity never arose in with the Seahawks. But now, freshly paid and at the peak of his powers, Walker is expected to have the most usage of his career, especially with Patrick Mahomes returning from his serious knee injury.
Walker rushed for 1,027 yards and five touchdowns last season, adding another 282 yards through the air on 31 catches. He truly exploded in the playoffs though, rushing for 313 yards and four touchdowns while adding another 104 receiving yards in just three games.
