CLIPPERS HEAD COACH TYRONN LUE
RE: Terance Mann fourth quarter playing time
“He had to come out at some point.
I thought the starting unit did a good job in the third quarter
getting us back in the game; then we brought in the bench, who did some good things. I just think
with the small lineup it’s tough for us to rebound the basketball and get stops when we need to.
By digging us a hole early in the game; now everyone has to play the third quarter; then you have to
bring in five fresh guys to start the fourth and that could’ve hurt us a bit.”

Goals defensively
“Just trying to get Zu [Ivica Zubac] on the floor as much as possible with those guys. Just to have a
rim protector and a guy on the backline. Someone who can clean up the mistakes. It’s not a lack of
effort on those guys’ parts, it’s just we’re small…so rebounding the basketball and point of attack get
difficult at times.”
CLIPPERS GUARD TERANCE MANN
Where game slipped from them
“I’d say it slipped beginning of the fourth. We couldn’t string enough stops to win the game, I think.
When you come back from a deficit like that you need to be able to continue to get stops.”
