The new FC Miami City logo combines key elements representing an homage to our rich history and symbols of our vision for the coming years.
The team was founded in 2014 and plays in the USL League Two, the defined and proven pathway for players to progress to the ranks of professional soccer. FC Miami City is working towards joining the USL Academy League in 2021, with the goal to enable its young talents to play in a high-level league and thus further accelerate their development.
Since 2014, FC Miami City has been working closely with the Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA. Thanks to this partnership, the club is able to develop exposure opportunities for its players, with the goal to be drafted and play in the USL League Two. In addition, this partnership increases the attraction of young talented players to join the roosters of the FC Miami City and play in the USL Academy League.
As part of this partnership, FC Miami City gave its players a new Homefield: the state-of-the-art Paris Saint Germain Academy USA Campus (Broward County Stadium), located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. A best-in-class professional environment, the stadium is designed to help athletes optimize their development, featuring a performance center with innovative technologies. FC Miami City’s outstanding campus now includes five pitches and boasts top-of-the-line facilities, including a 20,000-seater stadium.
The soccer industry is becoming increasingly global, an important point to take into consideration for players who want to start a soccer career. FC Miami City reaffirms its willingness to support young talents by establishing a worldwide partnership with ICEF, the International Center of European Football, increasing the club’s visibility in Europe, and creating opportunities for its players across the Atlantic.
