Preliminary detention order The Judicial Power issued a preliminary arrest warrant against former President Alan García in the framework of the investigations that follow the APRA leader in the Odebrecht case.
According to RPP News sources, the preliminary arrest warrant also reaches Luis Nava, ex-secretary of Palacio during the second APRA government, and textile entrepreneur Miguel Atala, a close friend of the former president.
The preliminary arrest warrant also includes José Nava and Samir Atala, sons of the ex-secretary of Palacio and the textile entrepreneur, respectively. Last night, in an interview with RPP Noticias, García Pérez said that it would be “a great injustice” for a preliminary arrest to be issued against him for the investigations that are being pursued for alleged money laundering.
