LOS ANGELES — Friday night at the Staples Center, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 122-117.
Although short by a few players, The Lakers were able to stay on top with points. In fact, Alex Caruso, who was scoring 3-pointers all night, definitely came in with confidence leading the team with a career-high 32 points. Leaving both his teammates and Laker fans with so much excitement.
“That comes from hard work” said coach Luke Walton “When you hang around our practice facility at all; he is always in there, he is always working. He is a team guy, even when he has been hurt in the past he’s sitting there talking.”
Along with Caruso, teammates Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also played well with a total of 25 points, and Rajon Rondo 15 points, 12 assists.
The Lakers are now at their 36th win for the season and will be going against Utah on Sunday at the Staples Center at 6:30 P.M.
