The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) remained unbeaten at home, defeating Orlando City SC 4-1 at Banc of California Stadium on Saturday night.
MLS June Player of the Month, Adama Diomande scored twice for the Black and Gold (28’, 82’), notching his ninth goal in his first seven games for the Club. Forward Latif Blessing scored the second goal for LAFC in the 32nd minute and forward Diego Rossi recorded his fifth goal on the season in the 84th.
Carlos Vela and Marco Ureña returned to action tonight after appearing in the World Cup for Mexico and Costa Rica. Vela and Ureña came on as second half substitutes.
LAFC continues their home stand taking on the Portland Timbers on Sunday, July 15at 3:00 p.m. PT (ESPN, ESPN LA 710 AM, 980 AM) at Banc of California Stadium.
With tonight’s win, LAFC moves to second place in the Western Conference with an 10-4-4 (34 points) record.
