UCI Graduate Student Exhibition Opens April 27 at Irvine City

IRVINE, Calif. (April 11, 2018): The Irvine Fine Arts Center announces the opening of its latest exhibition, Present Tense: UCI Graduate Student Exhibition, running Friday, April 27-Saturday, May 26. An opening reception is April 27, 6-8 p.m.

The exhibition presents a selection of works by current first- and second-year Master of Fine Arts students at the UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Artwork includes painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, video and site-specific installations.

Participating artists include: David Chen, Yubo Dong, Caleb Tyler Engstrom, Christine Dianne Guiyangco, Christine Jereza Hudson, Jackson Hunt, Anna Ialeggio, Maximilian Xeno Karnig, Ethan Philip McGinnis, Morgan Cuppet-Michelsen, Gabby Miller, Joaquin Palting, Renee Lynn Reizman, Ellen Schafer, Jean Young Shon, Corrie Allison Siegel, Michael Andrew Thurin, Chris Warr, Andrea Welton and Charisse Pearlina Weston.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Exhibition, opening reception and parking are free. The Irvine Fine Arts Center is located inside Heritage Community Park at 14321 Yale Ave.
