Dear Friends,

On Sunday, I hosted my first annual trail ride at beautiful Castaic Lake, joined by Sheriff Jim McDonnell and more than a hundred fellow equestrians. Los Angeles County proudly maintains more than 200 miles of multi-use trails connecting residents to the great outdoors. I would like to thank our many volunteers and environmental stewards who work tirelessly to maintain, enhance, and build new trails. We are privileged to live in a county with such natural beauty, offering numerous opportunities for healthy and active lifestyles. I encourage everyone to click the link below to learn more about our abundant trail system so you and your family can take full advantage of every benefit our county trails have to offer. Visit.

Sincerely,
KATHRYN BARGER
Supervisor, Fifth District.

Celebrating 40 Years of Advocating for Victims

It was a bittersweet day as Los Angeles County said farewell to Donna Wills, Director of the District Attorney’s Bureau of Victim Services, who retired after 40 years of dedicated service. Along with the leadership of District Attorney Jackie Lacey, it is the caring and supportive champions like Donna, who drive our efforts to help victims of crime rebuild their lives.
