With 37 Mexicans in the field start the 55th Abierto Mexicano de Golf, first stop on the 2013 PGA Tour Latin America, to be held at the Golf Club of Mexico City,

Led by national number one Oscar Fraustro Web.com Tour player, Mexicans will face 144 golfers from 18 nations of both Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.

“It’s a great honor to have 37 Mexicans and hope to see a great tournament, with Oscar Fraustro ranked first in Mexico, Oscar Serna, Sebastian Vazquez and all enrollees, because with this quality events we take a big step to go to the Olympics (2016), “said Jorge Coghlan on behalf of Don Jorge Kahwagi Gastine, president of the Mexican Golf Federation.

“We hope to open a great season, we have grown from 11 to 15 tournaments of the 2012 season to 2013,” said Warfield on the tour that starts in Mexico and this year features golfers from other continents.
